Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m a South West based editorial and portrait photographer. Most of my editorial work includes the use of nature as I am passionate about conservation and climate change. My love of nature has been around since the beginning of my journey as a photographer. It started with capturing its beauty and has now been explored in a variety of ways whilst becoming an extension of my photographic work. I’m an advocate for sustainability and try to be sustainable as much as I can as a photographer. I do this by considering the carbon footprint I leave behind when shooting. Alongside my work, I continue to experiment with cameraless processes and fine art techniques. This is an ongoing exploration of sustainability and how we can keep these practices for long term use.

My current ongoing work is an editorial piece that spreads awareness of the impact nature has on one’s mental health. The photos consist of location based portraits. These locations are based in Plymouth and its surrounding areas and have been chosen due to the positive impact it has towards one’s mental health. In the past year, I have exhibited my work at Ocean Studios, Plymouth and I have run a public facing workshop as part of the Plymouth Urban Tree Festival in 2025.
